Some time ago I put my hair through waaay too much protein that it started to act funny.. Coarse hair is not so funny, but you get the picture. 

Before I installed the weave I made sure that I was applying enough moisture to my hair. Every night, every morning and of course during wash day. Since my last wash day was with bentonite clay I co-washed  with the products shown above prior to installing the weave. 

In the little clear container I mixed ORS replenishing conditioner with DermOrganic Daily Moisturizing conditioner. As a DC I used did not use III Sisters of Nature Once A Week treatment. Why? Well I like it so much that I have been saving it lol. It will be used when I take my weave down. 

Instead I used a homemade of avocado, banana and honey.

And of course (!) I forgot to take pictures afterwards.. This is my clean hair after using DermOrganic's Shampoo. I LOVE the butterfly claws, they make it so much easier to apply everything thoroughly. 

My hair is more coily in the back while the front is more of a wavy texture.

After the box braids by hair needed some TLC especially since I had been neglecting it a little bit.. So I decided to give these a try. 

I used everything pictured and after the wash routine I applied leave in conditioner and sealed with the DermOrganic leave-in treatment since it is liquid yet thick like an oil. 

I skipped pre-poo and all those things because the only way to know if and how a product works for your hair is to limit all other treatments as much as possible, especially since I was trying out shampoo, conditioner, masque & leave-in. Before wash I only finger detangled & then combed through with a wide tooth comb on hair that was semi dry/wet of moisturizing spritz. 

I have one more trial left until I will let you guys know my thoughts about these products.

Gel: Taliah Waajid Lock it up, KeraCare edge tamer & 99.9% pure aloe vera gel. 

Hair stylers: Beautiful Textures Curl Control, Jessicurl Confident Coils and Rocking Ringlets* & Organic Root Stimulator Sheen spray. 

Others: Pure rosewater, baking soda, hair bonding glue, Schwarzkopf blonde spray & organic ACV from Braggs.
